In the streets of Hanoi

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. It is a city that moves and that is an understatement. The few weeks/days before Tet you can see many fires in the streets. The Vietnamese burn gifts to send them to their ancestors. You can also see many young and old people in traditional clothes who go to take pictures of themselves everywhere.

The energy that you find there is impressive, it can be inspiring or on the contrary overwhelming. But if you can integrate, understand the habits and customs as well as find calm in the middle of the perpetual storm that reigns there, you will appreciate it. You will be able to savor the Vietnamese food and life in all its splendor.

A big problem there is pollution, and I am not talking about noise pollution with the incessant noise of scooters, horns and ever more numerous cars. But the air and water which unfortunately are far from clean.
